Free Car Wash Fridays

Would you like to keep your car looking great all summer long?  Downriver CU will be hosting a FREE CAR WASH on select Fridays throughout Summer 2025, weather permitting, as a way to help local senior high schools raise funds for their various classes, teams, or other groups. Please note that these are "FREE" car washes but donations will be encouraged to help with each fundraiser.

Car washes will be held at our Southgate Office located at 15261 Trenton Rd., just south of Eureka Rd. 

Here are the dates for our 2025 Free Car Wash Fridays and the schools who have been scheduled to participate: 

• Friday, June 20 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Southgate Anderson Cheerleading
• Friday, June 27 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Southgate Anderson HS Class of 2027
• Friday, July 4 - No Car Wash Today 
• Friday, July 11 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Southgate Anderson HS Class of 2028
• Friday, July 18 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Summit Academy HS Marching Band
• Friday, July 25 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Wyandotte Roosevelt HS Boys Swim & Dive Team
• Friday, August 1 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Wyandotte Roosevelt HS Cheerleading
• Friday, August 8 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Summit Academy MS Drama Club
• Friday, August 15 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Lincoln Park HS Marching Band
• Friday, August 22 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm - Lincoln Park HS Swim Team

* Weather cancellations will be displayed on this page as necessary, so please be sure to check back on the day of each car wash if the weather is questionable!
