Free Car Wash Fridays
Would you like to keep your car looking great all summer long while helping local students accomplish great things?
Downriver CU will host Free Car Wash Fridays on select Fridays throughout Summer 2026, weather permitting, to help local senior high school teams, clubs, and specialty groups raise funds for important needs such as uniforms, equipment, travel, competitions, performances, and program expenses.
Car washes are free, but donations are encouraged to support each participating group.

School Group Registration
Do you know of a school group that would like to raise funds for an upcoming season, competition, performance, or special project?
Free Car Wash Fridays was created to support school-based teams, clubs, performing arts groups, athletic programs, and other specialty organizations with specific fundraising needs.
To help us serve as many groups as possible and provide a meaningful fundraising opportunity, participation is limited to no more than 2 established school organizations and specialty groups per school (limit begins Summer 2027). General graduating classes or class-year groups are not eligible for this program.
Examples of eligible groups include bands, choirs, theater programs, athletic teams, cheer squads, dance teams, robotics clubs, academic teams, and similar organizations.
