Please have the following documents ready to upload in PDF format at the end of this form:

High School transcript
Letter of acceptance from a college or trade school.
2 letters of recommendation from a non-family member at your church, school, employer, or community organization.
Original 500-word essay (typed, double-spaced, 12 point font--no longer than 2 pages please) on the following topic: "What are your career aspirations and how do they relate to the credit union's mission of helping people 'accomplish great things'?"

I understand and agree that I am applying for a one-time, non-renewable scholarship from Downriver Community Federal Credit Union; that all information included in the Scholarship Application is true and the answers provided are an accurate representation of my experience, skills, and abilities; that, if selected, my photo may be used in winner announcements, lawn signs, press releases, etc; that the "Scholarship Committee" selects recipients based on a combination of both objective criteria (academic performance: GPA/ACT/SAT) and subjective criteria (written essay--including content, grammar, punctuation, and spelling--and community involvement); that an applicant must be a member in good standing at Downriver Community FCU.
